Excellent granite climbing on Galenstock
Tourers on the snow field leading up to the easterly ridge of Galenstock
Aiguille de Bionassay
The most beautiful ridge of our lives.
Domes de Miage - all of them! Our plan for tomorrow is to traverse all the summits on our way to refuge Durier, located just to the left of the rightmost summit: Aiguille de Bionassay.
Descending Oberaarhorn early morning
Finsteraarhorn. The white summit right before it is Studerhorn.
Sandra climbing down from the north summit of Hohe Wilde, on our very first independent alpine tour. It was new terrain for us, and we loved every moment of it, but the effort was grand and the impressions deep.
Blue sky over Domes de Miage. Small dots move along the slope of the south west summit - the other rope teams. We are probably the last to start today.
This is a little crux, with a small undercling and some balancing. Cannot be done with gloves.
View from descent of Chimborazo
Approaching a crevasse and serac dense region of the glacier.
Both main routes have gone together and the track takes a slight detour to avoid the crevasse zone below.
Sunset by the Cotopaxi hut.
