An attempt on the beautiful Hochvogel from Hinterhornbach in Allgäu. The snow conditions in the finishing couloir had us and the few others on the mountain turn around. One should always pack an ice axe! Instead, we went around the mountain and had a nice picnic with a view over Bärgundeletal and Prinz-Luipold-Haus.
