We were first this morning, but lots of people are coming.

In good conditions like these, the steep sections are easy. There is a very short climbing section, but it is well belayed.

The summit of Signalhorn seems close, but this is actually just the snow ridge before the rock ridge before the summit.

Sandra traversing the 200 meter summit ridge to Signalhorn. The snow and risk of sliding off the edge made this a time consuming effort on a day when the sun was gazing hot and everything (but ascending Piz Buin) took longer than expected. Crampons and spirits broke. But those experiences belong to the mountains just as much as the smooth and calculated ones.
