Queens Bay
Queen's Bay dive site is in all aspects very similar to the directly abutting Cynthiana. It has very easy access, as one enters along the edge of a sheltered sandy beach. The dive site in itself is rather dull compared to more spectacular sites near Peyia, although we did find a roof and a swim through or two (one small cave is oddly littered by sun chairs - someone must have gone into a bit of trouble to get them there?!). Fish weren't abundant during our dive in spite of good conditions. What we did see were numerous red seastars and a few octopuses. There were many car tires - uninhabited, unfortunately. But perhaps they provide shelter for some of the octopuses at times. We also spotted one of those giant seyshells that are too big to even photograph.
