Ski touring for life
It's mid winter, one of the shortest days of the year, and we venture on our second ski tour. In the afternoon we finally approach Torkopf and Windecksattel, unknowing that this through a strike of luck will become our home mountain only a few months later. This is only the beginning of something new.
Just at the beginning of the Zweiländerweg ferrata at Kanzelwand.
A view over the Gottesacker plateau to Hohe Ifen.
Elferkopf in November
Along the ridge, a bit slippery in the melting snow.
Sky and snow
Journey to uncharted ground. At least, that is the emotion swelling up on our way to Berlingerköpfle this lone winter day.
Two tourers following our fresh tracks in the snow. Hohe Ifen to the left.
A local gem
Climbing d'r Lugabeitl at Liechlkopf, Kleinwalsertal. This is the 6th pitch (VI-).
Enjoying the pristine wilderness on the way down.
