Visiting the Athabasca Falls, we found the canyon along the trail more visually appealing.

Maligne Canyon, Jasper National Park. The Maligne Canyon trail is an easy boardwalk loop with optional side trails. There are six bridge crossings, offering views over different secions of the gorge. The main loop is 4.4 km and equipped with interpretive signs.
